Company Announcement
   
  Decision of Board Meeting: 28 February 2009
 

Board of Directors of Lakshmi Energy and Foods Limited (formerly Lakshmi Overseas Industries Limited) in its meeting held today i.e 28th February, 2009, has taken the following decisions:

  1. The Board approved the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account of the Company for the financial year 2007-08 (comprising of period starting from 1st April, 2007 to 30th September, 2008).
  2. Board recommended a final dividend of 25% (Rs.0.50 per share) for the financial year 2007-08 on the nominal value of Rs.2/- per share, subject to the approval of shareholders at Annual General Meeting.
  3. Book closure shall be from 25th March 2009 to 27th March 2009 (both days inclusive).
  4. The Board decided to hold the Annual General Meeting of the company on Friday, 27th March 2009.
