| The company has informed the Stock Exchanges that Punjab farmers have started cultivating PUSA-1121 rice in big way which has been classified as “Basmati” by the Govt. of India. PUSA-1121 basmati rice is eligible for exports and has been very well accepted worldwide. We have now started using our state of the art fully automatic plant for processing PUSA-1121 paddy for exports also.
The company has recently received an export order for the said 1121 basmati rice which is worth Rs.300 crore (apprx). Further orders for the same variety are under negotiation stage. |
